Dadda's birthday

I sneaked into parents' bedroom last night to put the b-day gift right beside dadda's head in order to make sure that he would see it immediately as soon as he woke up in the morning he he

He was astonished and moved, I bet, since I am the only one in the world remembering his birthday and surprising him annually in ways :p He said to me that birthday was merely one of many days in year and he almost forgot which date he was born, yet why I always count it that much important and special.

Perhaps I appear as a sensitive girl who tends to exaggerates special occasions in a year. New Year Eve, Valentine, International Women's Day, Valentine day, Mom's Day, Dad's Day, International Children's Day, Birthdays, Vietnamese Women's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Teachers' Day, eps Christmas :x They all are such sweet times for me to offer gifts and make beloved ones special things, wish them the best wishes and tell them what I'm unable to express during the year due to shyness.

Mary mommy has been absent for her trip to Cambodia for last few days, thus my house is kinda deserted - just dadda and me. This morning, he and I were out for breakfast and coffee together, chatted a variety of subjects as usual...We are indeed like close friends all the time :)

I feel so lucky to be his daughter for over 21 years and he's still in good form to take care of me like a little princess. Someday, I may find a prince, but he will always be my king <3 I love him heaps with the highest respect and the deepest affection :3

Happy birthday to you, Dadda!!

Let's watch the movie "The parent trap" together again (the n time lolz~) and see the tight father-daughter relationship of Hallie Parker and Nick Parker :3 I do love this movie and yup, I picked the name Hallie from it too.

Happy weekend,

- Hal
