Last thoughts of year

Another Tet is coming!

My stomach is full of food and drink after having late New Year's Eve party at home. Now I just wanna go to sleep right away in order to stay up very late tonight for sure.

Well, I'm getting older and older each year which scares my hell out because I'd love to stay young and innocent forever. The world of adult is too complicated to keep pace up with.

I reckon I'm a bit more mature and serious this year although my childish thoughts are stuck on my mind. However, it ain't really bad at all, eh?

I wonder how many more Tet holidays like this I'd be able to celebrate with my parents.

What if I can't return to Vietnam on Tet holiday to share happiness with papa and maman at my snug little house next year or next next years?

Maman is always awfully busy performing ritual offerings to the ancestors on New Year's Eve, celebrating New Year's Eve party, worshiping the ancestors within 3 Tet days =.="

She's not very young now so how come she cope with everything without me?

Anyway, at least I'm still here this year in the bosom of my family and I swear I'd try to treasure every single moment that I'm spending with them and capture it in my heart :')

Mom, Dad...I'm so lucky and happy to be your daughter :') many thanks for always giving me the best things xD Wish you both would be in security and good health next year.

I may foresee that tmr'd be a hard day to deal as I'm gonna go to Sailing club and set myself free whole night there with my friends, awaiting Lunar New Year's Eve to enjoy firework performance on the beach, getting back home and preparing to go to pagoda with Mom.

Nearly 3:00 am I'd be ready for bedtime. And I'm gonna wake up at 6:00 am tmr to visit my ancestral grave. It's like my annual habit :)) The first always greets me with a sleepy brain =))

Gotta take a nap at once before fighting with this hard long night.
