A+ Frcais

I had to bid farewell to French today in tears for making the foolishest mistake in the world. Having waken up since 4:30am and learning until 3pm to cram for the final French exam in my life, I did struggle to reach the top of scores and almost achieve the goal till the serious understanding amiss of the word "un beau souvenir" in French blocked my way and crashed the whole meticulous work that I had done right from the beginning.

"Souvenir" in French means "memory", unlike the word "souvenir" in English *straight face* Well, it was an essay in French and you know, I wrote the whole essay in a wrong way which obviously caused my outcome to get less scores than I had expected *upset*

At least, I did my utmost to say farewell to French. It would take more years, or even never, not to continue with this beautiful language from today on because I'm put in a condition that stands no chance for me to use this one. None of people here speak French nor most of companies nowadays require an employee with a French degree. There are very few of entertainment in French for me to practise and it is difficult to find out French books available on Internet, I must say.

And especially, there is no longer him there awaiting me to come to France, holding his warm hand and settling down in the tranquil countryside called "Provence" where has our future promises. Hopefully, he is somewhere in the heaven, being able to understand what I have to do this day...giving up the French~ The memories of ours. The once lifetime dream of mine. The language of love :) I promise one day I shall set my foot on the Provence land at any rate to fulfill the vow...even though just half of the vow.

Well, French language should exist in Europe and it is not suitable to learn if you probably have to dwell in Asia permanently. Chinese is certainly more advisable! I'm fortunate enough to have good Chinese friends and sisters learning well Chinese too. There is plenty of unlimited sources of Chinese materials and conditions to deal with this language.

Bisous,

Hal
